The role of an ASHRAE Chapter Student Activities Committee is to promote engineering and HVAC&R careers, manage local student branches, and build vital bridges between the local industry and educational institution

Acting as the main communication channel between the local ASHRAE chapter and nearby schools, technical institutes, and universities.

Encouraging the formation of new ASHRAE Student Branches, recruiting student members, and supporting their activities.

Introducing younger students to engineering principles and HVAC&R sciences through classroom visits, career guidance, and STEM fairs.

Administering local chapter scholarships, grants, and awards to support students pursuing careers in the industry.

Hosting facility tours, student nights, and mentorship programs to help students transition smoothly into the engineering workforce.
