The ASHRAE Foundation Board of Trustees invests the funds, and provides a 5% annual return, beginning one year after the fund reaches a balance of $3,000. The chapter will receive 5% credit towards their yearly RP campaign based on the balance of the fund on June 30 of the previous year.
