OBITUARY – Speers Funeral and Cremation Services
May 4, 1960 – June 8, 2021
Grant Phillip Dawson of Cobble Hill, BC passed away at Cowichan Hospice House in Duncan, BC on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the age of 61 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Natasha Anderson, son Curtis Dawson as well as by his sisters: Charlene Riess (Gavin Duffell), Karen (Tom) Cumbers; and nephew Kai Riess. He was predeceased by his father Phillip Dawson, and very recently, mother Maxyne Dawson. Grant will always be remembered for his kind heart, incredible generosity and commitment to engineering. A brilliant mechanical engineer, he was forced to retire due to early onset of dementia. A joint Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 11:15 a.m. for Grant, who passed away June 8, 2021 and his mom Maxyne, who passed away January 4, 2021.
