The primary role of the Chapter Technology Transfer Committee (CTTC) is to bridge the gap between ASHRAE Society and local chapter members by transferring current HVAC&R technical knowledge. The CTTC ensures that professionals have access to the latest research, standards, and industry innovations

The CTTC operates locally to support the broader ASHRAE goals through several specific functions:

Organizing monthly chapter meetings, technical seminars, and tours to provide continuing education and professional development.

Hosting industry experts and Distinguished Lecturers (DLs) to share specialized, cutting-edge technical knowledge.

Promoting and administering the ASHRAE Technology Awards at the chapter level, which recognize members for designing innovative, energy-efficient systems.

Communicating local chapter feedback, industry needs, and input regarding standards and handbooks back to Society committees.

Providing chapters with high-quality resources and tools to effectively deliver industry-related programs.
